Charm & Strange is a recreational clubhouse providing opportunities to Everett's community and beyond to showcase/sell art, create art, and relax in a safe and affirming environment. We provide community-led classes, activities, and services to encourage our members to grow & explore. While we put a lot of focus on our local LGBTQIA+ friends, people of all genders and sexualities are welcome and encouraged to join us!

Membership Features

Club membership includes access to the following:

  • Use of community space to relax in a safe and affirming environment.

  • Ability to showcase and sell art within the clubhouse.

  • Access to use and purchase art and crafts materials.

  • Community musical instruments.

  • Clothing exchange closet.

  • Community hosted classes and activities.

  • A little lending library.

  • Tabletop games and puzzles.

  • Video game consoles and games.

  • Office space with supplies and equipment.

Supporter

$10 per monthThis tier is for those who don't wish to use the space, but want to contribute. We stack these to sponsor folx who can't afford membership.

Standard Individual

$25 per month | $250 per yearNot planning to attend many events and juat want to use the space? This tier is for you!

  • Space Use: Unlimited use of the space during business hours, including the craft room and office.

  • Free access to several monthly events and activities.

  • Rental Priority: Standard Members receive priority over non-members on event rentals as well as a 20% discount on rental fees.

Premium Individual

$50 per month | $500 per yearIf space use and lower event/class fees are what you're after, this is the tier for you.

  • Event Discount: In addition to the same free event access as the Standard membership, Premium members receive a discount on paid events. They only pay the cost for supplies and instructor pay (typically saving 50% or more per event/class).

  • Bring a Friend: Premium members are welcome to bring a friend to events at the Premium member discounted rate (including free events).

Gaming Group

$15 per month | $150 per yearThis tier is for those looking to host set schedule gaming groups of 10 people or less up to twice a week. Members on this tier and their guests do not have craft room or office access.

Charm & Strange exists to be a creative clubhouse rooted in care, consent, and community responsibility. We believe art thrives where people feel safe, respected, and empowered to show up as themselves.This space is built on shared accountability. Everyone here is responsible for their impact, not just their intent. We prioritize consent, personal dignity, and mutual respect over comfort or convenience. Membership in this space is a privilege — one that requires active participation in maintaining a welcoming, healthy, and affirming environment for all.By entering or participating in the Charm & Strange clubhouse, all members and guests agree to uphold these values and follow the rules below.

Consent Is Mandatory

  • Consent is foundational in this space.

  • Always ask before touching another person, their belongings, or their artwork.

  • Respect verbal and non-verbal boundaries immediately.

  • Consent can be withdrawn at any time, for any reason.

  • Pressuring, coercion, or dismissing boundaries will not be tolerated.

  • If someone says “no,” that is the end of the conversation.

Respect & Community Care

  • Members are expected to treat others with respect and consideration.

  • Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or hateful behavior of any kind is prohibited.

  • Be mindful of shared space, noise levels, and how your actions impact others.

  • This is a community space — clean up after yourself and help maintain a welcoming environment.

Personal Hygiene

  • For the comfort, health, and safety of all patrons:

  • Members must arrive and remain reasonably clean.

  • Strong or overwhelming odors (including body odor or fragrances) that disrupt others’ ability to use the space may require staff intervention.

  • Charm & Strange reserves the right to ask individuals to step out if hygiene becomes a concern.

Children & Supervision

  • Children 12 years old and under must be accompanied by a supervising adult at all times.

  • The supervising adult is fully responsible for the child’s behavior, safety, and adherence to all clubhouse rules.

Animals

  • No pets are allowed in the clubhouse.

  • Service animals are permitted, as required by law.

  • Emotional support animals that are not legally recognized service animals are not allowed.

Safety & Conduct

  • Any behavior that compromises the safety, comfort, or wellbeing of others may result in immediate action.

  • Staff and organizers may intervene at any time to de-escalate situations or enforce rules.

Membership Enforcement & Termination

Charm & Strange reserves the right to:

  • Deny, suspend, or cancel membership at any time, with or without warning, if rules are violated.

  • Remove individuals from the space immediately if necessary.

Membership fees are non-refundable, including in cases of suspension or termination due to rule violations.
